They stood up for you, and for all of us. They took courageous, bold action to speak out on behalf of our world, and our future.
Some are students. Some are moms. All of them are ordinary citizens like you, who had an opportunity to take a stand, and decided to step up and speak out. They stood up, peacefully and nonviolently, for your right to clean air and clean water, and for your right to a future.
Our government’s refusal to act on the most urgent issue we have ever faced—the climate crisis, and the irrevocable damage greedy energy companies continue to do to our planet—affects the lives of all of us and of future generations. That’s why your fellow Americans—including six from Salt Lake City—stood up for you.
The only support they have comes from like-minded, generous people like you.
This Friday, May 6th, come to First Unitarian Church at 569 South and 1300 East in Salt Lake City at 7:30 PM to honor the six courageous Utahns who took bold action.
